The radar dome cover for the vessel “Pacific Tracker” is an excellent example of the scale and magnitude Waagmeester Industrial Canvas can take on. As you can see from the photos, this radar unit is massive. Our challenge was to provide the most efficient means of covering the radar. Rather than using a cover with a standard geometrical shape, which would result in a great deal of excess and overlapping fabric, we used a “slat” design to give the radar a custom fit. Seeing the finished product fully installed is really quite impressive. This is an application that can apply to any large scale structure including buildings. When we say we can design and create a custom cover for anything, we mean ​literally anything.

You’ve seen our large scale, industrial curtains above. Here you can see much smaller curtains in use. These custom, exterior curtains allow outdoor spaces to be enjoyed all year long. They provide shelter from excess sunlight, wind, weather and cold, maintain temperature and in many cases can be partially deployed on those days when only partial protection is desired. Above you can see the contrast between a set of residential use exterior curtains designed to match the look and feel of the home against a set of clear curtains allowing an outdoor patio to remain completely open visually.

Here we created a simple and attractive solution to house and protect firewood outside the home. Using very similar construction techniques as our residential awnings, we designed and fabricated the frame and cover to fit perfectly in the existing brick walls. This created an aesthetically attractive addition to the home that is water and weatherproof and extremely easy to operate and clean.
